October is peak Spooky season, and that includes art and events. Being a gothic artist means my fall schedule is jam packed with spooky art events and markets looking for art that feels creepy, witchy, dark, gothic... etc. It's Halloween all month long and I absolutely love that.
That being said, it's exhausting. The fall events start with a rush in September and I worked an event or two nearly every week for the past two months. Keeping enough art to run all these events is no small task. I spent most of August simply creating trying to get ahead of the rush.
It almost worked.
I'm way low in stock on so many of the favorite items like mini collages, curiosity domes, and jewelry. The issue, though, is that I'm also very low on clean bones! I'm working on a raccoon at the moment who will bring a lovely winter restock. I need to pull someone else out of burial and into maceration so I have bones to work on through the cold winter months too. Before the ground freezes.
It's been an amazing fall so far. November and December I'm scaling back on in-person markets and I'll focus on restocking over the colder months. I'm overdue for a website restock and refresh so keep your eyes open for that too. We're almost there, folks. 2024 is slipping away fast!
